Social Emotional Learning Professional Development

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is the continued process through which individuals acquire and apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. SEL is an essential aspect of education and personal development, focusing on nurturing emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills. Reclaiming YourSELF (Social Emotional Learning for Faculty) is designed to help educators build their personal awareness they are able to facilitate this in their students.
